Bal with Thalas

We’re proud to welcome Thalas to our Balhalla bal this late summer! This brand-new duo features Guus Herremans (diatonic accordion) and Ward Dhoore (acoustic guitar) – two seasoned musicians who have earned their place in the folk scene over the years.

After years of crossing musical paths in each other’s bands and projects, Guus and Ward decided to channel their shared energy into a project of their own. Thalas brings fresh, original tunes filled with storytelling, emotion, and groove – perfect for dancing and listening.

In the folk circuit, Guus and Ward are far from new faces.

🎵 Ward Dhoore built a strong reputation through bands like Trio Dhoore, Snaarmaarwaar, Siger, Spilar, and Estbel.
